The House

Tucked into the hills of Wofford Heights in the Kern River Valley, Mountain Shadow Cabin offers stunning mountain views with all the amenities of home. Originally purchased as the owners remote work paradise, it’s now a place they can share with others. And while the outdoors are the main attraction, MSC was thoughtfully designed to be cozy and comfortable for guests.

The Area

Offering easy access to the Kern River, Sequoia National Forest, and the Southern Sierras the cabin is an amazing home base for year-round adventure. Check out everything that the area has to offer!

The Owners

Derek and Leah discovered the area on a weekend fly fishing and hiking adventure. From the moment they drove into the canyon, they were in awe. That weekend was spent relaxing in an Airbnb next to a crackling woodstove and along the river catching wild rainbow trout. Soon they were looking at places of their own. Come visit and you might be next!
